IPA Keyboard is a virtual keyboard displayed on the screen containing all the letters in the international phonetic alphabet. Clicking any letter on the screen will add it to the text field at the bottom of the window which allows easy copying and clearing. IPA Keyboard supports dark mode and can be resized to fit your liking.
Setting up IPA Text Input on OS X 10.9 or higher. Once you’ve restarted, go to the System Preferences Application. Click the “Keyboard” Option. First, check “Show Keyboard and Character Viewers in the Menu Bar”, then, click the “Input Sources” (or “Input Menu”) tab inside the Keyboard Pane. Then, click the “+” button in.

Type every character and diacritic from the International Phonetic Alphabet easily.

Kreative SuperIPA keyboard layout is based on CXS, a variant of
X-SAMPA, a mapping from ASCII to the International Phonetic Alphabet.
Most X-SAMPA mappings that use or ` for alternate characters can
be typed using Option on Mac OS X, Right Alt on Linux and Windows.
Diacritics can be typed using a Shift-Hyphen dead key on Mac OS X and
Windows (but not Linux), or direct key bindings on all supported systems.

Installation on Mac OS X

Copy SuperIPA.keylayout and SuperIPA.icns to either
~/Library/Keyboard Layouts/ or /Library/Keyboard Layouts/.

Open System Preferences, search for 'keyboard layout,'
and add the SuperIPA keyboard layout or input method.

Select SuperIPA from the keyboard menu and start typing.

Installation on Windows

Run setup.exe and follow the prompts.

Select SuperIPA from the language bar and start typing.
